We are the Caltech International Spouses Club, a motley crew of men and women who have moved to Pasadena from all over the world. We represent over 20 countries from all over the world and a plethora of life stages and from Italy and Spain to South Korea, India and Japan.
Though we come from different cultures, speak different languages and are in widely differing life stages, we are united by our experience of making Pasadena our new home. Through this blog, we hope to share our interests, adventures, recipes and life hacks to help each other overcome the challenges of living in a foreign country and forge friendships for life.

“Life is all just maintenance” – Unknown
My life has been a zig-zag of experiences across India, Singapore, Germany, Thailand and the United States. My adventures span from being a product manager at a gaming company to a strategy consultant, an Indian classical dancer to an aspiring scuba diver. I love to talk about the mind and spirituality, books and TV shows, art and culture, business and economics! I plan to write about local culture and my travels!

Originally from Belgium, I arrived in Pasadena in November 2016, which makes me one of the veterans of the CISC. I have been working in the US for more than 2 years now, so I plan to write about all that I have learned through my own experience. With my husband, we also love going on short road trips for the weekend and, in 2.5 years, I think I can say we have become some kind of experts in what Southern California has to offer.
